Easter is a time when Christians Celebrate the Death of Jesus almost
2000 years ago for us. He was executed by Romans on a cross outside the
Jerusalem however Jesus did not stay dead. Three days later he rose
from the dead leaving his grave empty and appearing to many who knew
him. The death and resurrection of Jesus is central to what Christian
believe because only through this act of Jesus is our relationship with
God restored. It is through Jesus taking the punishment we deserve for
rebelling against God and ignoring him in our daily life that we are
saved.
