Giving

Credo has a budget for campus activities well into the five figures per annum, which is quite a bit for a uni student society.  This money is used for our gospel ministry on campus - reaching out into our uni community and helping to facilitate such things as Public Meetings, Chill Room, advertising for missions, and so on.  Hence the Credo budget reflects our committment to support Christian growth, rather than any lavish expenditure! (We actually operate on a shoestring for the amount of things we try to achieve).

Members who donate to Credo provide most of the financial means to make all this ministry happen, and we would encourage you to contact Rebecca Spires to set up a planned giving schedule.

When considering how much to give to Credo, please understand that Credo endeavours to work in partnership with your local church - not as a replacement. As such, your donation to Credo should not detract from or replace your weekly giving to church.  Instead, think of it as a contribution to a worthwhile gospel ministry; similar to supporting off-shore missionaries, foreign aid and the like.  Even as uni students it is good to learn generosity in this practical way.

Your contribution to Credo goes a long way on campus. It assists in providing opportunities to share the gospel with ears that need to hear; it allows us to continue strengthening and equipping Christians for life-long ministry and supports a range of events that facilitate "connecting with Christ".
