In the Engo/IT faculty we are fired up to serve our Lord and Saviour, study his word, and glorify him in our lives. We love a good steak, doing stuff outdoors (yes, even the IT's!), and fellowship with each other and our Lord. We particularly get excited about bible verses that use building metaphors, such as Ephesians 2:19-21
"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief Cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord."
We have multiple small groups, for first years and second year plus's and they even have girls in them (yes girls!) - we are not just blokes in engineering/IT. We would love for you to join one of our groups (if you haven't already), so just send us an email.
We also have regular socials, including the ever popular 'Steak Days', and other past events have included Golf, Bushwalking, Drive-in Movies, and Prayer Meetings. We also have a once a year faculty getaway which rocks! Please send us an email if you have any other exiting ideas for social events.
