How did you become a Christian?
By the pure grace of God. He saved me from a life of bitterness and rose to show me with Him I can overcome such a life.
Favourite verse
Right now it would be...
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matt 11:28-30
Why join Credo?
It is an awesome thing to know that God has affected many others in different ways, shapes and forms. Seeing people who are like-minded as you in the secular setting of university and the nurturing of your Christian walk in both teaching and fellowship is a great source of encouragement. (wow that's a long sentence...)
Best thing about Credo?
Clearly it's the concourse! But I suppose the fellowship which goes on is pretty sweet too. (In case people can't detect my tone of voice when typing this [yes I do talk to myself while I type] the best thing about Credo is fellowship)
If you were a superhero, who would you be?
An amalgamation of Superman, Spiderman, Batman, WonderWoman and Ninja Turtles. Although I suppose I'd have too many tools to choose from... so I guess I'll stay with being a turtle because at least I get to stay being a teenager and I've already got the ninja thing covered. And Batman because of the Batmobile.. and superman because he was born a superhero...
What is your favourite food?
Anything that has a C, H and O. Occasionally I feel like something which also has an N.
What is your favourite band?
I don't have favourites. That's called favouritism! hrm, the constants for me would be Damien Rice, Finch, Fall Out Boy, Lostprophets...
What is the grossest thing you have ever eaten?
Worms? Booger? Depends on the perspective of gross... I'm Japanese so I eat a lot of raw stuff... is that gross?
